Biographical history

Born in Peterborough. Censuses show that she lived in Peterborough for most of her life, but the 1911 census records her living with her elder sister, Constance Percival, at Southdene, South Street, Sheringham (the same address as that given in the 1921-22 sketchbook). Kelly's Norfolk Directory of 1922 also lists her at this address, but in the 1929 directory, the Misses Percival were living at 122 Newmarket Road, Norwich, the same address given in the 1932 sketchbook. She had moved back to Peterborough, however, before her death in 1942.
