Administrative history

Began trading in Norwich as Paris & Scott, Ltd. in 1884. Mr R. Laurence joined the business as an investor in 1887 and it became known as Laurence, Scott and Co. The name changed when the the company took over Electromotors in 1929.

Board minutes (1888-1929), registers of members and other corporate and company secretary's papers, with founder, WH Scott's engineering notebooks, 1887-1891 and many photographs and cuttings albums of staff and products, and with printed brochures and sale catalogues. Also includes some personal papers and memorabilia of ex-employees archived by the company.
