The deed is undated, but can be placed from witnesses' names to between 1280 and 1290. There are two pendant seals.

Deed of grant and quitclaim by William Reinald and his wife, Matilda, to Matilda's brother, Rowland, son of Robert, of a piece of land called Croweoc in Little Melton

Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Villelmus Reinald et Matilda uxor mea unanimi assensu concessimus et dedimus et omnino quiete clamavimus pro nobis et heredibus nostris totum ius nostrum quod habuimus vel aliquo modo habere potuimus Rowlondo filio Roberti, fratri predicte Matilde, in una pecia terre que vocatur Croveoc in campo de Parva Meleton inter terram Parvi Andree ex parte orientis et terram Johannis Suckeling de Wimedhum ex parte occidentis, cuius capud aquilonale abuttat super terram Robertii Beuereht et capud australe super terram Johnanis Grobi, habendum et tenendum pro nobis et heredibus nostris illi et heredibus suis iure et hereditare bene et in pace in perpetuum aut cuicumque dare vendere vel assignare voluerit in quocumque statu fuerit absque ullo clamio seu calumpnia nostrum [sic] vel heredum nostrorum pro ista autem concessione et quieteclamacione dedit nobis predictus Rowlondus triginta solidos permanibus ut autem ista concessione et quieteclamacio sit rata et stabilis hinc scripto sigilla nostra apposuimus.
