Son of John and Margaret Redman of Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire. Son William Redman. Educated at Cambridge, later becoming Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. Rector of Bishops-bourne, Kent. Elected Bishop of Norwich on 17 December 1593/4, consecrated 12 January 1574/5. Enthroned 24 February 1594/5. His funeral was on 2 December 1602. Died 25 September 1602 at Norwich.
