Scope and content

In his will, Case divided his estates. He bequeathed his property in Stradsett, Gaywood, Mintlyn, Crimplesham, Fincham and Lynn, to his daughter Pleasance's widower, Thomas Bagge, and the title deeds in this section relate to parts of these estates. He bequeathed his estates in Gayton Thorpe, East Walton, Grimston, Congham, East Winch, Gayton and Pentney, to his daughter Sarah Hamond, who had previously received property in Congham, Hillington, Grimston, South Wootton, etc. on her marriage in 1779. Many title deeds to these estates are to be found in the papers of the Hamonds of Westacre (catalogued as BIR and HMN).
