History

Born at Cambridge, and educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Became doctor of law. He was the last Bishop of Westminster to be consecrated. Transferred from Westminster to Norwich on 1 April 1550. Translated to Ely 10 July 1554. Refused the Oath of Supremacy and was imprisoned during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Died 1570.
