Lived at Newnton, Wiltshire, near Tetbury. Became a naturalized British subject in 1804 (Parliamentary Archives, HL/PO/JO/10/8/60). Buried in St Mary's church, Tetbury.

Plans and Particulars of Gunton and other estates in the county of Norfolk belonging to Sir Harbord Harbord, bart, surveyed by H.A. Biedermann. With coloured maps arranged by parish and schedules naming pieces and tenants and giving acreages of arable and pasture, with summaries arranged by farm. The maps include scale and compass and are bordered. Buildings are shown. Arranged as follows:

Gunton, showing park layout (loose); Thorpe [Market] (lacking map); Northrepps, Roughton; Aldborough (pasture only), King's Wood (Stockton), Hanworth (see also p. 201); Southrepps (2 maps); Bradfield; Antingham; Suffield; Felmingham; North Walsham; Colby; North Tuddenham. Added, on pp. 202-203, a map of Plumstead (not by Biedermann, scale and compass missing) and, towards the end, particulars without map of Stanfield and Frettenham, 1791. With index of tenants after the North Tuddenham section.
