Appraisal, destruction and scheduling

System of arrangement

The arrangment created by the alpha-numeric system used by compilers of the subject files has been reintroduced; the original alpha-numeric reference number is given in the 'Arrangement' field. Reels of quarter inch audio tape found in some bundles have been physically removed for preservation purposes but listed after the subject files in which they were found. Where items within bundles were obviously misfiled, they were transferred to the appropriate bundle using the alpha-numeric system used by their creators.
