History

2nd Lt Stanley Corrington was born on the 15 Nov 1916 in Los Angeles, California. He was a bombardier in the 567th Bomb Squadron, 389th Bomb Group. He was taken prisoner of war while on John E. Gold's crew on board the B-24 'U-Bar', which was damaged on a mission to Gotha, Germany, crashing near Massbach, Germany, 24 February 1944. He died on the 19 Nov 1997 in Kent, Washington.
