Letters to Frederic and Ruth Eaton from Tom Eaton

Contains letters mainly written by Tom Eaton when he was in Guildford prior to his demobilization from the army and while taking Law Society exams 18 May 1946-20 June 1946; and letters written when he was working in York for Heningham and Armstong solicitors, 8 February 1947-27 July 1947. Also includes, in order found, a copy of The Law Society final examination papers, 1946, letter to Tom Eaton from Frederic Eaton with news from Norfolk, 8 March 1947; postcards sent by Tom Eaton while on various holidays, 1962; and printed booklet entitled 'Review of World Affairs', 1947.

Apart from these solicitors' records, the Bradfer-Lawrence collection contains copies of correspondence of Whincop and Lane of King's Lynn with clients in the 1820s-50s [see particularly BL/EV and BL/HA] and many runs of deeds, all of which were acquired from Archer & Archer in the early 20th century.
