System of arrangement
The original order and arrangement of the scrapbook is unknown. Some pages are numbered but they were not found to be in sequence on deposit with the Norfolk Record Office (NRO). There are also many loose items which have been inserted into the scrapbook at some stage, it is possible that the creator had intended to add these in order to make new pages in the scrap book. The pages and loose items have been arranged in the order that they were found.

Physical characteristics and technical requirements
Handle With Care. The scrapbook was deposited with NRO in very poor condition, contained in a plastic bag and the contents attached to the pages using adhesive tape which has caused damage. Many of the contents have become detached from their original pages or are missing. This occurred prior to deposit with NRO.
