Biographical history

James Hinton 'Jim' Reeves (11 May 1919-4 Oct 2012, Moultrie, Georgia) and joined the United States Army Air Force in 1942. He worked with Lt Col George S. Brown as chief clerk in the Operations section of the 2nd Air Division Headquarters, based at Ketteringham Hall. He was an active member of the 2nd Air Division Association, serving as Vice-President of the Headquarters group and later as its President.

This section contains recorded memoirs of James H. Reeves, information about Ketteringham Hall, an address on the bombing record of the 2nd Air Division and numerous wartime photographs.
The British War Office photographs (all captioned) cover a wide range of subjects including combat and liberation of Normandy, combat and liberation of Italy, wartime agriculture in England, the New Forest, the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) in Normandy, the Royal Navy, the YMCA in Burma and the Middle East. Some of the well known faces photographed include King George VI, Vera Lynn and British military leaders.
The American Office of War Information photographs include photographs of recuperating soldiers, military and political leaders (including Dwight D. Eisenhower and Franklin D. Roosevelt) and the Breton Woods Convention, 1 July 1944.
