Biographical history

From the age of ten Trevor Nicholls took photographs of people, buildings, streets and events in Gt. Yarmouth. Each photograph is annotated to show date and location, with some images containing further details. At the same time he also collected printed materials which had bearing upon the scenes he recorded. Trevor Nicholls worked at Ferryside from 1965 to 2008, and was Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, 1976-2008.
