Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Unless otherwise stated, the records were received from the Registrar to the Archdeaconry of Norwich, an appointment filled for many years by members of the firm of Norwich solicitors, Messrs Overbury, Steward and Eaton. The main accession was in 1918 (see ANW 28/2) and subsequent deposits followed, including some records that were returned from Suffolk as the Archdeaconry of Suffolk registry had also been in the firm of Overbury, Steward and Eaton.
