Name of creator
Mayor of Kings Lynn from 1939 to 1941. Father of the painter John Denis Harwood Catleugh.
Name of creator
Richard Catleugh appears in Kelly's Directory for 1883 as a travelling draper with premises at 18 Albert Street, King's Lynn. The Directory for 1892 shows Robert Catleugh as a clothier at 14 Norfolk Street. In 1900 a Richard Catleugh is operating from the same premises. By 1916 Richard Catleugh is described as a tailor, clothier and outfitter with premises at 14-15 Norfolk Street and 11-14 Broad Street. The shop continues to operate from these premises, after 1922 being known as Catleughs of Lynn.
