Responding to Pengelly's request (by letter on 14 September) to draw £120 on Mr Rowland Cockey of Amsterdam, Raynes outlines the terms of the loan. Endorsed as answered 26 September 1668.

Earl of Orford, in reply to a note from Lieutenant Harvey, apologizes to the same for troubling the Trustees of [Norfolk and] Norwich Hospital regarding an exchange of land between the Earl and the hospital. The Earl asks that Harvey meet with him before the Court of Trustees' meeting on 6th September.

Addresses Meynell as her 'old Friend'; thanks him for a handsome present sent by Mr Gordon and for his invitation, and Mrs Meynell's, to stay with them in London. Describes their house in Gorleston, to which their family had moved from a cottage at Ealing, as 'pleasantly situated', albeit not able to accommodate visitors, and mentions Yarmouth Races and drives through the county of Norfolk ('truly picturesque and charming') as a attractions for his proposed visit with his family. By contrast, the economic state of Yarmouth is gloomy, with shopkeepers leaving the town and 'the poor starving for want of employment'. In a postscript, she deplores the cold weather and backward spring, which contribute to the poor finding difficulty in getting anything to eat but red herrings and potatoes.

Mainly letters to Anne and Elizabeth Huntington, daughters of John Barker Huntington. Also includes some sketches of gentry, soldiers and animals, plus locks of hair from friends and family, kept as mementos. The letters are sent by various friends and relations, from France, Swaffham, Hembsy, Norwich and elsewhere. This includes a pair from a friend, Caroline Keating, writing vivid accounts of her time in India and two valentine 'cards', featuring hidden messages from 'George' and 'T------s'.
Elizabeth Huntington died in 1827, aged 23. She was buried in the parish of Winterton, East Somerton.

Letters to and from Samuel Hornor. Subjects include a proposed published history of Francis Hornor and Son and other notes concerning the history of the company, letters of thanks and appreciation from various friends and colleagues, Christmas cards, papers re the 'Butterfly' boat owned by the Hornor family since the late 1920s, old receipts and other papers sent to Samuel for the company archives, photographs of the 100 year celebrations of Norwich Union, various letters relating to business, research on locations used for the film 'The Go-Between', printed card photograph of Major Evans Lombe and others, plus some personal correspondence.

Solicitor's bills and related papers belonging to Nathaniel Micklethwait, including work on property accounts and for his marriage settlements to Maria Waldegrave and Charlotte Rouse 1804-27.
Extracts of admissions to various manors for Nathanial Micklethwait (1825) and Miles Sotherton Branthwayt (1781), including details of fines.
