Biographical history

Geoffrey Hewitt Lamb was born 6 January 1922 in Warwick. He was educated at Warwick Boys School and read history at Emmanuel College, Cambridge (1940-1 and 1945-7/8) and served in the Army during the Second World War. He joined the staff at Paston Grammer School in 1948 and retired in July 1981 when the school changed status to a sixth form centre. He died in December 2009.
