Relates to nurses who commenced training 1918-1925. Includes photographs of some nurses. Numbered II on spine. The register was kept by the matron: initially Florence Ann Cann (who retired in 1926) and then Edith Olive Jackson. Information given varies but may include: name; age when started training; address when started training; qualifications already achieved; comments about character, nursing ability and performance; date when arrived and left; whether training was completed; wards worked on, with notes on dates, type of ward (eg. medical, surgical, children's, isolation) and stints on night duty; time taken off for holiday; reason for leaving; and later career.
Includes: blank certificate of nurse's training (at front) and list of lectures for week commencing 15 Sept. 1930 with names of nurses to attend.
