SAC 2007/28 comprises of audio CDs copied (from Nov 2006 to Aug 2007) from original MiniDiscs loaned to NSA by Norfolk Museums and Archaeology Service: Great Yarmouth Museums on 19 Oct 2006 (TD 2006/15). Scope and content
Oral history interviews gathered by staff at Great Yarmouth museums. Great Yarmouth series 1 (AUD 19/1) and series 2 (AUD 19/2/1-71) relate to various subjects, including Second World War, fishing industry and general life histories. AUD 19/2/72-82, 85-86, 90 relate to the off shore oil and gas industries. AUD 19/2/82-84, 87-89, 91-92 relates to Great Yarmouth's tourism industry, particularly guest house landladies. More detailed summaries of AUD 19/2/1-71 are located with accession paperwork for SAC 2006/12 and can be produced upon request. This information is gradually being added to this catalogue.
