Archival history

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Received by the Norfolk Record Office on 19 Oct 2006 (SAC 2006/12, catalogued as AUD 19/1/1-100 between 2018 and 2021). Time and Tide Museum, Great Yarmouth deposited on a temporary basis, their minidisc oral history collection on ?? (TD 2018/29) for the purpose of preservation copying and cataloguing (as AUD 19/2, uploaded Dec 2021). Though the minidiscs have been returned to Great Yarmouth, they have been catalogued as if they are still at the NRO. The preservation copying of TD 2018/29 replaces all previous efforts to do the same, namely: TD 2006/15 becoming SAC 2007/28 (GY MDs 1-23, 42, 44, 102, 104-109, 115-119, 122-126, 129-140); TD 2007/28 becoming SAC 2008/18 (GY MDs 142-162); TD 2008/31 becoming SAC 2009/3 on DSD5 (GY MD 163-172); TD 2009/23 becoming SAC 2009/26 on DSD5 (GY MD 173-4, 176-7, 179-183); and TD 2009/27 becoming SAC 2010/23 on DSD43 (GY MD 184-193). Any cataloguing of these earlier efforts has been incorporated into the present catalogue.
