Includes committee reports, correspondence and other papers relating to George Clayton Eaton's activities with the Norfolk and Norwich Museum Committee as Honorary Secretary, and papers concerning Norwich Castle Museum. Also includes some related papers added after the death of George Clayton Eaton, possibly by Frederic Eaton or Tom Eaton.

Black and white photographs. One of the interior of the John Jarrold Printing Museum and one index print of photographs of this musuem. One photograph of the exterior of a factory building, one index print of photographs of the interior of a factory building, one photograph of building work to the car park outside of St James' Mill. One reprint of an early twentieth century photograph of First World War Red Cross nurses. The latter is a duplicate of photographs found in JLD 1/8/2.

Papers relating to the establishment of the museum

A file of papers marked 'Museum and Craft Centre', containing correspondence, mainly addressed to or from Jarrold employee Mike Fuggle, about setting up a printing museum in the medieval undercroft of St James' Mill and about archaeological excavations of this undercroft. There are also brochures and information about local musuem organisations and notes and photocopied extracts from reference sources about the history of St James' Mill, Jarrold and Sons and Norwich.
