All the papers are of Oliver Locker-Lampson. They consist mainly of typescript copies of letters written by him, but also include some he received. The bulk of them relate to his time in the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS), spent mainly with armoured cars in Europe and Asia during the First World War; but there is also some business and personal correspondence; papers relating to donations and subscriptions to war funds; societies and clubs; one box of letters labelled The Press, various congratulations, Irish Policy, British Government policy, 1914-1919, and two boxes of letters to and from his constituents, mostly dated 1919, but some earlier.
