History
Wife Alice. Sheriff in 1492, mayor in 1501 and 1513, and burgess in Parliament in 1503. In 1501 he began building the market cross which stood until 1732 when it was dismantled. He was a mercer, and twice commissioner for gaol delivery, and once a commissioner for subsidies. Died after 1513. Lived in an old house at 18, London Street, Norwich. House dated back to the reign of King Henry VIII.
