Grant from William, son of Peter Chyken of Norwich to William de Dunewic and his wife, Caterine

Of 2s. annual rent paid him by Robert Cok for a piece of land and house in the Swynemarket in Norwich lying between land of Geoffrey Herle and a messuage held by Alice Markes to the north and land of Robert Cok to the south, and extending in length from the highway towards the Cokeye. Annual rent: one clove at Easter. Warranty clause includes reference to both Jews and Christians. Witnesses; Simon le Paumer, William le Tunder, Henry de Heylesdon [all] then bailiffs of Norwich, Ingelger Carettario, Roger del Tolhus, Nicholas Faber ('Fabro'), Reginald Stikehare, Walter Sket, Richard de Florendon, William de Senges [Seething] and Richard the clerk.
Seal of white wax, vesica-shaped. Endorsed in contemporary hand, Chyken to William Donewic and wife, and in several later hands, one saying that the swine market was on All Saints Green.

Grant from William son of Peter Chiken of Norwich to Robert son of William Kok

For a payment of half a mark, of a piece of land and house built on it in Swinemarket lying between land of Geoffrey Herle and a messuage held of William Chiken by Alice Markes on the north, and land of the said Robert to the south and extending in length [east to west] from the highway towards the Kokeye. Annual rent: 2s. in four payments of 6d. Witnesses: Roger del Tolhus, Nicholas Faber ('Fabro'), Reginald Stikehar', Walter Sket, Richard de Floredun, Martin le Agulier, Walter de Senges [Seething], Walter de Hedersete, Simon Asger, Roger le Werthere and Richard Terri.

Quitclaim from Robert Koc and wife Matilda to William of Donewic of all rights to a piece of land in the street of Swinemarket formerly belonging to William son of Peter Chiken and which lies between Koc's land and that of Geoffrey Herle, and one head of which abuts on the highway east and on the Kokeye west, for a payment from William of 2s.

Witnesses: John Nade, Adam Croide, Robert Wenge, Reginald le Paumer, then bailiffs of Norwich, Walter Sket, his son, Walter, Simon Aleger, Martin le Agulier, Walter de Senges, Robert de Melles, Richard Lenn, Hamon the clerk and John the clerk.
Endorsed, 'The Swine Market, All Saints', and dated variously, 1251 and 1254. Also includes Blomefield's crossed-circle mark.

Agreement by indenture between William son of Peter Chiken, chaplain, on the one part and William de Donewic and his wife, Katerine on the other part

That Chiken has granted, for a payment of 40s., to William and Katerine 10s annual rent from a capital messuage in the Swinemarket 'in villa' of Norwich formerly of Peter Chiken and which is held by Robert of Melles.
Payment of rent to commence at the feast of Ss Simon and Jude [28 October] 40 Henry III and to continue for 4 years. Witnesses: Alexander de Refham, Herlewin Piscenar[ius], John son of the Chaplain, Thomas de Mulkeltun, then bailiffs of Norwich, Robert de Newetone, Roger del Tolhus, Reginald Stikhare, Ralph le Paumer, Richard Lenn, Peter son of Henry and John the clerk.

For 40s. payment, an annual rent of 10s. arising from a messuage held by Robert de Melles from William Chiken in the Swinemarket in the parish of All Saints. Rent to seller: a pair of gloves or 1d. at Easter. Witnesses: Alexander de Refham, Herlewin Piscenar[ius], John son of the Chaplain, Thomas of Mukelton, then bailiffs of Norwich, Roger del Tolhus, Richard Lenn, Reginald Stikehare, Gilbert de Lenn, Robert de Neweton, Ralph Le Paumer, Richard Terri and John the clerk.
The first party's seal is identical with that of NCR case 4a/1/4.
