Building Control Plans: Sequence 9 (BC prefix)
New numbering introduced on 3 April 1989.
Building Control Plans: Sequence 8
There are no plans for 1975 or part of 1976. Numbering starts at 3781 (presumably because of the missing years) and continues up to 21342, but with gaps.
Building Control Plans: Sequence 5
Numbers 1-14554, with gaps. None for the years 1960-1969 inclusive, except one each for 1960 and 1961.
Building Control Plans: Sequence 4
The series starts from about no. 166 and continues to number 10231, with gaps.
Building Control Plans: Sequence 1
This sequence, patchy in nature, predates the registers (Y/TPL 3) which start from November 1885. This is in fact a number of small series, some with duplicate numbers, possibly representing the work of the Borough under the Local Governmant Act, 1858, and as a Sanitary Authority under the Public Health Acts, 1872 onwards.
Some of the numbering may have been added later in the 20th century as the plans were packaged in formal planning files.
