Following the cancellation of the 2020 NNF because of Covid-19 emergency, NNF worked with artists, Hunt and Darton, to re-master their Local Radio show. Broadcast for an hour a day during the time when the Festival was due to take place (8-24 May) on Future Radio and online, the show feature artists who were due to perform at the Festival as well as local people. In the words of NNF, 'Radio Local responds to people and place, witnessing the unprecedented time and celebrating people's boredon'.

The site of the factory has now been developed into houses and the weir was redundant. It was removed by the Environment Agency in partnership Norfolk Rivers Trust and their subcontractor William Moorfoot. The aim of the project was to help fish species absent from the upper River Tiffey to recolonize.
