Cecilia, Lady Suffield (d 1911)

Mainly 1864 when at Trouville, France, and 1876 when Suffield was on Indian and Mediterranean tours with the Prince of Wales, but also 1903 and nd. Affectionate in tone but reflecting marital storms ('my evil tempers') and family matters inc. their bad financial position, news from Court, local politics inc. whether Charlie should stand for the County, frequency of divorce and general lowering of moral tone, sister-in-law's malevolence in sending anonymous telegrams. The 1903 letter marks their 49th wedding anniversary.
