Purportedly copied from Kirkpatrick's original mss notes. The volume includes copy notes on many of the antiquarian topics and themes in which Kirkpatrick was interested, and also includes the text of John Kirkpatrick's will of 1729, an inventory of the various papers and notes devised in the will to his brother, Thomas, and some brief biographical notes, with a published copy, etched portrait of 'John Kirkpatrick, chamberlain of Norwich' (sic).
The paper of the volume is variously water-marked with the years, 1839 and 1842.
