Includes probate wills of John, James and Francis Balls, with executorship account of James Balls for his deceased brother, Francis, 1714-15, 1700-1715; abstract of title re TF Berney's sale of Gowthorpe Manor, Swardeston to John Steward c 1823; plan of Hethel North Park by WS Millard 1824 (UFP); bundle of correspondence between Mrs Eleanor Steward and various, re: the death of her husband, Major J H Steward (died 1915) and subsequently settling her affairs, 1915-16, re her advertisement of a clerical position in the Guardian newspaper (various clerical applicants) 1921, with Revd James Swinburne, vicar of Shifnal, Shropshire (including copies of vols 1 and 2 of his pamphlet history of the the parish church at Shifnal) 1921-1929, and general estate and clerical issues, 1920s-1930s.

Letters sent by Michael Honeybone to his parents during his army National Service. Covers his basic and officer training, and then his deployment briefly in Northern Ireland and then in Cyprus. Comprises Background details to my army correspondence by Michael Honeybone, 2022 (2 papers) and the following envelopes and folders:

2 Letters home from Officer Training at Eaton Hall, 1957-1958.
3 Letters home from Rural Ulster Rifles Depot, 1958.

Also includes deeds to properties in Eton, Berkshire; Boreham (with several 15th C deeds), Toppesfield , Southminster and Theydon Bois in Essex; Withington and Charlton Abbotts, Gloucestershire; Alvestoke in Gosport, Liss and Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire; Much Hadham, Herts; Littlebourne, Kent; St Giles in the Fields and elsewhere in Middlesex, with partnership articles of Cook and Spavin of London, tea-dealers, 1837; Wardington, Oxon; Cheddleton, Staffs; St Clement's parish, Ipswich, Suffolk; Kenilworth, Warwickshire; Kirkburton, West Yorks and deeds re bushland in Canterbury Province, New Zealand (Dampnier family), 1836-1880. Also includes clergy papers of Samuel Bennett of Gt Wakering, Essex and Walton on the Hill, Surrey, and a pocket book of housekeeping and farming accounts in Little Shelford, Cambs, possibly connected to William Bradley and a Mrs King, 1828-1832.
Though roughly sorted into county bundles, it is likely that two or more of these bundles will relate to each other. More detailed work, identifying the chronological sequence of the parties to the deeds would be needed to establish any such links before any deeds are transferred to other repositories.
