Recorded interviews are mainly of Rachel Young. Though Rachel Young (born circa 1914) was heavily involved in the management of several heritage sites in Norwich (Strangers Hall, Bridewell and St Peter Hungate), these recordings relate to her time in the Land Army in Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire and the role she played in establishing the WEA (Workers' Education Association) in Norfolk under Hampden Jackson and Dr Lincoln Ralphs. Collection also includes recorded memoirs of Sophia Hankinson.

Contains records relating to the drainage of the Fenns which include references to north west Norfolk.

Includes wages book, two out-letter books of John Thurston, invoice book, loose administrative paperwork (mainly details of payments made).

Photographs of the exterior of the shop and of the interior of the consulting and waiting rooms, with one photograph of a branch in Cheapside, London. The shop window in one of the photographs also lists branches in the High Streets at Ilford and Balham.

The Bradfer-Lawrence collection is rich and varied, ranging from medieval manuscripts to nineteenth-century business records. There are many groups of deeds and records of Norfolk families, and also papers relating to local and national government. The largest single group of papers relates to the Bagge family of Gaywood and their estates. Important smaller groups relate to a number of leading local families including Bacon of Stiffkey, Townshend of Raynham, and Paston, Earls of Yarmouth.
