Scrapbook of news cuttings, often obituaries of county personages and aristocracy, photographs of local country houses, local postcards, art and antiquarian sale catalogues and auction notices, memoranda and Carr's in-letters from various correspondents, concerning Carr's biographical, antiquarian and local interests, with Carr's own annotations on the pages of the volume, often supplementing the pasted-in items, but also recording unrelated facts or snippets of news. Documents include a printed lithograph of the interior of St Edmund's RC Church at Bungay, c 1880, copies of the Ditchingham National School and Town Trust accounts, 1902-1903, service order, photographs and copy address at a memorial service at Norwich Cathedral for surgeon, William Cadge, 1904, and photographs and handbills re the King George V coronation celebration games at Ditchingham, 1911.
