Descriptions of copyholds

Descriptions of copyhold lands in manors owned by the Micklethwaits in Taverham Hall, Hickling Netherhall and Hickling Stannow. Made mainly for the lands to be valued for admission fines by Pratt or Hornor but includes land to be taken by the Lynn and Fakenham Railway, lands in the Manor of Romburgh to which Revd. John Micklethwait is to be enfranchised and copyholds to which Henry is to be admitted after John's death in 1877. Includes rentals for the Manor of Taverham Hall for 1788 and 1824, plus sales particulars for a farm at Drayton.

Receipts for copy admissions to various manors

Letters of acknowledgement and schedules of deeds received by agents or stewards, receipts for fine and fees paid to various manors to which John Digby Mills was admitted, covering letters for steward's copies of admissions and surrenders sent to Francis Hornor. Includes Hornor's correspondence relating to the admission process and a letter to Hornor from Mills congratulating him on his success with it.
Includes a small, neatly written minute book recording Francis Hornor's copyhold work between January and July 1909, with seperate schedule of John Digby Mill's copyholds in Norfolk.
