From the date 2.26.1892 as given in MC 2235/1/22/4 it would appear that Pennell was using the American method of dating. Therefore the date of MC 1/22/2 is 3 May 1891 rather than 5 March 1891 and the date of MC 1/22/3 is 4 June 1891 rather than 6 April 1891.
