Register Bills, or yearly transcripts of parish registers, usually running Easter to Easter, were returned at Archdeacon's Visitations or at Bishop's Visitation when the latter were held, which was normally every seventh year. They were usually filed by the year but the Archdeacon's Transcripts have been re-sorted by Deanery and by parish within the Deanery. For the Norfolk Archdeaconry these yearly files appear to be represented:

It should be emphasised that all transcripts do not survive for the parishes for these years; and that some transcripts were returned to the Bishop in normal years and some to the Archdeacon in Bishop's years. From 1813 onwards all transcripts were returned to the Bishop.

Other documents returnable at visitation, for example lists of church goods, are occasionally copied onto the transcripts.

Review ('Revisio') of the Archdeaconry of Norfolk, made by Henry Cropley for Wrightington Wright, Archdeacon. Arranged by deanery; names patrons and incumbents of each parish; includes valuations of the living, tithes, procurations due to the Bishop and to the Archdeacon and synodals. Has bookplate of Francis Blomefield and note by him that the book came into his possession after having been lost from the Archdeacon's Office, but was restored by him to the Office in 1750. The book contains some information which replicates (in a different format) that in the diocesan valuations (DN/VAL), but appears not to be a stray from any existing diocesan or archdeaconry series of records.
