The body of enclosure owners was set up under the Holme Enclosure Act, 1860. In 1963, according to the minutes of the final meeting, it handed over its functions to an internal drainage board.

Archival history

The volume was with the Le Strange estate records for many decades before it was deposited in the NRO. It appears that it was not required by the successor body, an internal drainage board.
