Collection of documents relating to the Hastings Family and their property in Gressenhall and neighbourhood and also to their property outside Norfolk. Includes court rolls and other records of the manors of Gressenhall and North and South Soken with Rougholme; title deeds; papers relating to the cases between Edmund Ferrour vs Sir Hugh Hastings and Henry Barret vs Hamon Lestrange; Gressenhall Overseers Accounts, 1637-1677; notes from Book of Rates and observations, 1641-1667, mentioning the Le Strange family; and a rate levied in Beetley by Parliament for ordering the militia, 1662-1663.
