Name of creator
Lt Col Roy Grumbach was born in New Jersey on 30 March 1921. He was a navigator with crew no. 45, 714th Bomb Squadron. He was shot down on his 15th mission to Frankfurt, Germany, (a decoy mission to direct German fighters away from Kiel), 20 March 1944. He was held as a prisoner of war at various Stalags and marched to Moosburg, Germany. He died on 23 November 2008.
