Administrative history

Incorporated on 16 June 1899 to acquire the mineral water manufacturing business of predecessor firm, Messrs Forster G Moore and Son, a private business in St Peter Mancroft, Norwich, which had been purchased in the previous year by A.J. Caley and Son Ltd. Caley used the name to manufacture and sell a cheaper range of mineral water products than they produced under their own name. Forster Moore Ltd was acquired in 1932, along with its parent company, by the toffee manufacturer, John Mackintosh and Sons Ltd of Halifax. Mineral and table waters, cordials, ginger beer and beverage manufacturer.\r\nWholly owned, first by A.J. Caley and Son Ltd, then on the amalgamation of that company with that of John Mackintosh and Sons Ltd, by the latter. All rights relating to Forster Moore were later, in 1956, passed to a new, jointly owned mineral water manufacturer, Caley Morgan Table Waters Ltd.
