Biographical history

S/Sgt Frances Mary Elder was assigned to the 1st Separate Battalion and served in England, 1943-1945, until she was selected for Officer Candidate School and transferred back the United States where she was promoted and served in the Air Intelligence Office at the Pentagon until discharge in November 1945. She was an active member of the 2nd Air Division Association.
