History

December 9 1921 - July 5 2017. Bud was a B-24 bomber pilot and served in the 389th Bomb Group (Hethel). After the war he was a Governor of the 2nd Air Division Memorial Trust, representing the 2nd Air Division Association in the United States. The Governors, along with Norfolk County Council, are responsible for the 2nd Air Division Memorial Library in Norwich. He was Governor at the time of the Central Library fire in 1994 and instrumental in the Library's reconstruction at The Forum which opened in 2001.
