Born November 1599. Son of Augustine Reynolds of Southampton. Educated at the Free School and at Merton College, Oxford, gaining an M.A. Preached at Lincoln's Inn. Rector of Braunston/Brayton, Northamptonshire. Dean and Vice-chancellor of Christ Church, Oxford. Doctor of divinity. Forced out of his deanery because he refused to take the independent engagement in 1650, but recovered it on 11 March 1659. Nominated 30 September 1660, consecrated 13 January 1661. Buried in chapel of bishop's palace, Norwich.
Wrote: 'Assembly of Divine Annotations and Epistolary Preface to Will Barlee's Correptory Correction'. Died 28 July 1676 aged 76 years.
