Travel notebook

Records descriptions of flora and fauna and observations about the landscape while on various visits, including Lynmouth, Great Yarmouth, Mousehold in Norwich, Keswick near Norwich, and Leatherhead. Includes some ink sketches.

Depicts scenes from 'The Hermit', by Thomas Parnell, with verse. The scenes are numbered I-VIII. According to an annotation in pencil, on the reverse side of scene I, this series of cut-outs may have been created by Thomas Damant Eaton and presented to his son, George Clayton Eaton.
