Janet Ellis started writing her diaries in July 2010. They form a record of the lives of Janet and her husband Peter, along with their pets, in the small coastal village of of Overstrand and include photograph galleries and a selection of her recipes. Mrs Ellis saw a need for and maintains a village website and her diaries are paper copies of her blog entitiled 'Overstrand Life Janet's Diaries' <www.overstrandlife.co.uk>. They also include the following local information: what's on; village clubs and societies; where to eat and stay; links to places of interest; food and retailers in the area; what to do in the immediate locality; doctors and hospitals; and transport (e.g. trains and buses).
