Council and Commitee minutes

Printed minutes of proceedings of the Town Council and Committee meetings. Before November 1902 the Council, or Congregation, minutes were entered in the manuscript Hall Books (KL/C7/16-27): the original numbering of the volumes in KL/TC1 continues from the Hall Books series, although the numbers 32-36 were used twice. The minutes are signed and indexed except where otherwise stated.

Burial Board and Committee minutes

Minutes of St Margaret's Burial Board, 1854-1855, and of the Town Council acting as the Burial Board, 1855-1902. The Council was constitutued as the Burial Board for King's Lynn by an Order in Council of 1 May 1855. It took over the function of St Margaret's Parish Burial Board, records of which were delivered to the new authority. Indexed from 1867.

W.T.F. Jarrold was a vice president of the Norfolk and Norwich Amateur Operatic Society between 1930 and 1935 and the society's programmes were designed and printed by Jarrold and Sons.
