System of arrangement

It would appear that the original arrangement of many of these rolls has been broken and the membranes made up into yearly or two yearly rolls. It is uncertain whether the correct membranes have been put in the right years, and many queries arise over membranes dated during the reigns of Edward I, Edward II, and Edward III.

Previously listed as MS 21233
