Administrative history

Jonathan Tebbs Bottle M.R.I.B.A. took over the offices of the old town surveyor, A.W. Morant at 28, Regent Street, Yarmouth in 1864. In c 1880 he took into partnership a younger contemporary, Henry Olley. Bottle and Olley remained at Regent Street until the mid-1890s but then moved to 5 Queen Street (an address the firm was to keep for the next forty years). Bottle died in c 1900 and by 1904 Olley had taken on young architect, Frank R.B. Haward into partnership. This partnership lasted until Olley's death. Thereafter the firm continued to be known as Olley and Haward.
