Roll of Honour

At the final meeting of the War Memorial Committee in 1922 it was suggested by Mr Thomas Diggle that the unexpected balance could be used to create a book containing the names and, where possible, some account of the lives of the fallen. The motion was passed and the Roll of Honour was created out of this effort. The Law Clerks of Lynn undertook the work to create the volume. It was completed by 1923.

Names arranged alphbetically. There is a binding error where three entries are distrubed.

Sometimes referred to as the Lynn Book of Heroes in other Council records.
