Biographical history

Archival history

These original illustrations were commissioned from the artist Philip Harvey by GYLHAS as part of a HLF funded project to commemorate the publication of John Preston's book 'The Picture of Yarmouth' in 1819. The project canvased the people of Yarmouth to identify buildings built since 1819 they felt were historically significant. They appeared in a new book produced as part of the project.

Copyright remains with GYLAS and the artist but both assign control to the NRO on the provision that any copies are made for personal research only and no commercial reproduction can take place without their permission.
