Abe Sofferman (S/Sgt) was born in Bronx, New York, USA. He flew six missions as radio operator and gunner with the crews of Rockford C. Griffith, Keith Cookus and Harold H. Pindar of the 67th Bomb Squadron, 44th Bomb Group. He was killed in action during a mission to Frankfurt, Germany, 29 January 1944.
