Typescript history of the house evidently by Marian Gosselin with mostly exterior photographs and an account of the house as purchased 1900 and subsequent restoration work.

The account is brief until its acquisition by the Orrises (related to the Gosselins) by lease in 1801 but detailed thereafter. The discovery of a small Roman find and family reminiscences are included as is a pedigree of the Gosselin, Orris and Marshall families by Inigo Woolf, 1981. There are photographs of cleaning out the moat, 1935-1936, and a studio portrait of Gerard Gosselin.
