Biographical history

Betty Constance Points née Steward was born on 26 January 1922 at Beeston, Nottinghamshire. She was in the Auxilliary Training Service during the Second World War (1939-1945). On 3 June 1948 she married Jack Points once of Wroxham. They moved to Eastfield, Surlingham, Norwich in 1954. Betty Points died on 28 December 1998.

Scope and content

These papers consist mainly of account books which also served as appointment diaries. In 1986 two diaries seem to have been kept, one for accounts and the other for appointments. The latter have not been selected for permanent preservation. The accounts give a very detailed and interesting insight into twentieth century living.
